I read the novel, and most of his works as well. it was written circa 1978, and King writes long fictional novels...like 1,000 pagers, in other words he's quite verbose

This one was made into a 4 -part mini-series ( 1994) totalling 366 minutes , or 6 hours !, it follows the novel closely enough

It can be streamed for free if you have the right streaming apps, don't ask me to tell you how do that, that's why I pay Bushay $15/ month to do the technical stuff and keep it running.

It's about a superflu pandemic that wipes out most of the Earth's population , ( like 99 %), but some are immune.

The good guys are in the East, the Bad guys in Vegas.

I was there when some of the Vegas scenes were filmed, might even be in there for 2 seconds ?

very appropriate stuff for now

it's like watching the movie Airplane, as the in flight movie !

The book is usually much better than the movie, almost always, in fact!

I don't think too many RX'er's are willing to read an 823 page novel unless in a prison cell, friend !, but they will watch a mini series of it, if they can stream it for free.

It's up to them to find it, it's there...…

and quite relevant to what is happening or could happen

dig it up, if you can, and have 6 hours to watch Stephen King's vision of this from 25 years ago !

I understand you might not have access to it, but I can access about anything !

I love Stephen King's stuff, in book form, back when there were libraries

I really liked 11/22/1963, just a few days before I was born !

Nobody reads any more, as in books !

also King's

Under the Dome is somewhat like what we are experienciencing currently, but on a more worldwide scale instead of just he fictional Chester's Mill, which most certainly must be set in Maine, without actually stating so , outright, it's his trademark

no need to cut scenes or anything, it's not like sexually racy or harsh language, nothing to cut, it's just something in the dark corners of SK's mind, that we are living through now, much akin to 1984.

I'm glad I have lived most of my life and am old now, at least I got that !

I pity today's youth that face such an uncertain future !

highly relevant, now !

I'm going to RE-WATCH IT

and Starwars, which I never did get into, but love anything Star Trek, and SCi- FI in general

basically, I can pull up almost any movie ever made on demand

My DVD player and discs are slated for donation to Goodwill, if/when they re-open.
